Hi, I am Courtney Bishop, a 20 something photographer from the metro Detroit area. My passion for photography started at a young age when I was given my first 35mm film camera for Christmas. I ran around snapping photos and getting them developed at the local drug store for fun. As time passed, I entered high school and further developed my passion when I learned the technique of darkroom photography. Those drugstore prints no longer cut it when I realized I could develop prints with my own type of flair. Soon after my darkroom experience came my first DSLR camera. I immersed myself in the art of digital photography along with the art of digital editing. After watching countless Youtube videos and attending local seminars I began to solidify my skills. To this day, my friends, family, and pets are my models and inspiration. I am always learning new skills and further defining my vision. I feel the art of photography is more than just pressing the shutter button, it is about capturing personalities and emotions
